Regulators of an industry in trouble and adding to that trouble or a legalised protection racket???

Still waiting to find out!!!

I will shortly see if these regulators are seriously interested in assisting firms that are ‘doing it right’, or at least attempting to, after untangling most of the regulators principle based handbook…. Or whether, they investigate firms just to justify their existence…

I will keep select-u updated on the progress….

I hope for everyones sake, the FSA is a genuine regulator and not just another goverment department, out to rob hard working businesses.

We work all our lives to buy a property then when you get to retirement you die and your kids get eveything you work for… nice!!!!

Why do people still fall for this rubbish.

Computer virus ‘hoaxes’ have been around as long as the first virus.

Just after the 1988 introduction of the infamous Morris Internet worm (not originally designed as a virus, but a study on the size of the internet) the first identified hoax began circulating. That’s over 19 years ago ! The amount of internet bandwidth that is wasted on this rubbish, really gets my goat… Another problem hoaxes deliver is complacency. anybody who has,already been embarrassed once for naively believing in a hoax, is much less likely to accept a valid virus warning as being true. Thus, a proper warning is met with disbelief and apathy. In such a case, a hoax can be considered a potential precursor to disaster.

The hoaxes do not get any better either - “As reported on CNN “, ” McAffee says”. A friend was caught out by one today and asked me if I has seen it, GRRRRRRRRR.

When will people learn?

When you receive a virus warning DO NOT SEND IT TO EVERYBODY YOU KNOW!

Go to Google
Type in the subject line of the supposed virus email or the first line of any text in the supposed virus email
Hit search

Read the first few sites that come up, is it a virus or a hoax? Chances are that it’s a hoax.

Let your friend know not to send out such rubbish!

I am not talking about woman being better drivers than men - obviously they are not! Doesn’t matter what insurance companies say, they defiantly are not…

No, what I am ranting about this time, is the inexcusable rudeness and ignorance of English men drivers. You know who you are: you are not the latest F1 hero and none of you know how to drive on a duel carriageway or motorway.

Why o why, do you idiots have to;

- Drive on the outside lane when the right turn on the roundabout is at least another 2 miles to 800 yards away?

- Block off the outside lane when there are road works ahead, frightened that some one may actually get ahead of you?

- Drive in the middle or outside lane when the inside lane is clear?

- Pull in tight to the middle of the road, when a motorbike is trying to get past?

To all of you that drive as described above, you are a bunch of twats, you are not big, you are not clever, and one day, one day……. Well, for now, I will just continue, or at least attempt to continue to smile and wave as I find my way around you – please do not get too annoyed when I undertake, or scrap the side of your nice expensive car… YOU F’KIN IDIOTS!

Just how much tax do we pay?

I am in the 40% tax bracket and am bloody annoyed that I work so hard and the tax man gets a bonus.

I would of thought that they could have come up with a better way for taxing the earnings of individuals by now…

If you work 50 plus hard hours a week, working hard to grow your business, or to ensure your life or the lives of your loved ones is worth living and trying to save a few quid for your retirement, why the hell should you have to give 40% of it to the taxman.

If on the other hand you are a footballer on over £10, 000 a week, then of course you should be on at least 40% tax…

I have just received my friggin 22% tax charge for corporation tax - what the frig am I paying for!!!

I save I pay tax. I spend I pay tax. I work I pay tax. I die my children pay tax - stuff the frigging taxman
